Our achievements

The Association of Louis Tétreau's Descendants (ADLT) has taken on a mission to honor the memory of Louis Tétreau and Noëlle Landeau and that of their descendants. Over the years, this has led to the erection of several commemorative plaques in Quebec and in France.

October 18, 1998

Installation of the plaque at the Delia Tetreault room of the church of Marieville.

October 31, 1999

Commemoration of the 300th Anniversary of Louis Tetreau's death.

A commemorative plaque was installed on the back wall of Champlain church.

The spouse's name should read "Noëlle" and not "Nathalie." This error is due to the fact that the marriage register for Louis and Noëlle is in Latin. The French "Noël" translates as "Natalis" in Latin.
